Get a coach - here is why

I just had a powerlifting coach come over to my place for an hour to check my form and help me plan. He added 70+ pounds to my deadlift single rep max in an hour. Why? Because he made my muscles grow? No. Because he taught me proper technique? Yes, but that is not all. Because he gave me confidence in what I’m doing. Yes! I could trust the technique, I could trust his guidance. And that trust helped me unlock what strength I already have. Problem is - he is a little too expensive for me. Not because he is charging me anything - we are buddies. But because I don’t have any plates left at my house to add for my deadlift. Ha ha. Looks like I’m placing a super happy order tonight. :) Get a coach. Get a mental performance coach. Get a therapist. I don’t care what they are called. Get somebody with experience in what you what to get better at and listen to them.
